Congratulations Thilini, our solicitor

We congratulate Thilini Melanka who was admitted as a solicitor in August 2024.

Thilini joined Nelson Brown Legal as a student through Practical Legal Training with Leo Cussen Centre for Law in April 2024.

We were so impressed with Thilini’s work ethic and exceptional attention to detail, we kept Thilini on as a paralegal.

Thilini’s interpersonal skills means she can quickly build rapport with clients.

Our Principal Nelson Brown said he looks forward to helping and watching Thilini grow her advocacy skills.

‘In only a few months as a paralegal, Thilini was able to quickly grasp the intricacies of working in a criminal law firm – she is across important legislation and the requirements and procedures of the criminal justice system,’ he said.
