Victoria Legal Aid funding

Nelson Brown Legal is on the Victoria Legal Aid criminal law panel and can represent legally aided clients.

This means, if you cannot pay for your legal fees, we may be able to assist you through a grant of legal assistance – where Victoria Legal Aid will cover your legal costs.

Victoria Legal Aid has strict guidelines on who is eligible for a grant of legal assistance.

We will discuss your legal matter and personal circumstances with you to help determine if you are eligible for a grant of assistance.

If you are eligible, we will help you fill out and submit an application with the various supporting documents to Victoria Legal Aid.
